| Documents Required for Entry | Visa-Free Entry for Most Nationalities: Citizens of the European Union, United Kingdom, United States, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, and many Commonwealth countries can enter Seychelles visa-free for up to 90 days. A valid passport, proof of onward travel, and accommodation details are typically required on arrival. Visitor’s Permit on Arrival: All travelers, regardless of nationality, must obtain a Visitor’s Permit upon arrival. This is issued free of charge for the first 90 days and can be extended for a fee. Approval is subject to immigration discretion and proof of sufficient funds may be requested. Visa Required in Advance (Rare Cases): A small number of nationalities may face additional entry requirements. These travelers should contact the nearest Seychelles diplomatic mission prior to travel to confirm visa obligations. There is no visa-on-arrival process beyond the Visitor’s Permit. Important Note for 2025: All visitors must complete digital travel authorization through Seychelles’ official travel screening platform before departure.
